Ricky Dale

"I am really happy and privileged to be invited to be part of the NSCFC"

Ricky

Ricky is currently working the Costa Blanca, Spain and predominately the Benidorm entertainment venues.

Ricky has entertained people all over the world with his unique style, super personality and very caring attitude towards his fans, he’s an instant hit.

His fans have stayed loyal through the eighties up to the present day. The mood may have changed over the decades, but Ricky still belts out old favourites in tandem with modern sounds and some super songs he has written himself, my favourite being Love Song Lullabye and for good reason, in Ricky one can't help but experience a fathers intense love for his children and this has left a lasting impression on me.

During the 90’s Ricky was a heart-throb in America, and sang at the Academy Awards - now in 2008 he wins over his fans in the same amicable style.

Following in his fathers footsteps is young star Craig Ron-Dale! Here we have a cover of Bohiemiem Rapsody for your listening pleasure. Craig Ron-Dale - Bohiemiem Rapsody

MARTIN ELVIS  'Best Gospel Elvis in Europe'

Hi, having known Mike for a number years now since meeting him when he was on holiday in Malta, we have managed to stay in touch ever since. We first met and sang together when I was still figuring out how to plug my microphone in!!! (see picture below!!)

I think the work NSCFC has done on its site is remarkable to say the least. I am a husband and father of 4 children so I really appreciate the commitment involved, nothing is easy in life but with the NSCFC by ones side there is always help and light to enlighten the dark passages.

Keep up the good work buddy for all to share.  Martin Elvis.

Martin “Elvis”, Malta’s number one Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) has been awarded the Best Gospel Elvis in Europe Award at the “Elvies” awards in the UK.

Martin sings in both the UK and Malta and has appeared at venues such as, the HARDY SPICERS club in Birmingham, one of the largest Rock ‘n’ Roll clubs in Europe.

Martin took part in the GMTV Search for Elvis competition in 2001 where he placed in the grand finals out of thousands of entrants. He has appeared on both British and Maltese TV and has released two CDs. His typical schedule ranges from many private functions, including Fiestas (for local villages), open air concerts, private parties, UK concerts and his usual weekly circuit work for many of the hotels and clubs in Malta.

Kathy Kirby in support of the NSCFC

Kathy's hits, “Secret Love”, “Let Me Go Lover”, “I Belong” and so many more are now available on compilation CD and her best-selling LP “My Thanks to You” is a collector’s item. Her effervescent style, blonde hair and trademark lip gloss made her the highest paid girl singer of the sixties. She was a favourite of fans and royalty, and it is only recently, thanks to her biography “Secrets, Loves and Lip Gloss”, by long time friend and manager, James Harman, that her career has begun to enjoy something of a revival, with more plans in the pipeline. Welcome back Kathy you are always in our thoughts, Best Wishes Mike

JUNE TABOR  'SINGER OF THE YEAR' at the BBC FOLK AWARDS 2004

The contribution made by grandparents to the socialisation, welfare and
education of children is immeasurable, and the world would be a poorer place
without it. I wish you every success in your campaign.

With best wishes,

June Tabor

Long, long ago, almost 40 years ago in fact, I borrowed a record from my school library. It was called The Jupiter Book of  Ballads, and the most important thing about it (apart from a stunning recitation of McGonagall’s Tay Bridge Disaster by John Laurie, alias Private Fraser of Dad’s Army) was that some of the Ballads were sung. To someone accustomed to seeing them only as printed lyrics in a school anthology of poetry, this was a revelation. And so began a life-long love affair with the Ballads of the English (and Scots) speaking peoples.

Rt. Hon. Ann Widdecombe MP

"There is never such a thing as happy family break-up, but the effect on a child where the break-up is bitter can be devastating. All children deserve both parents in their lives, where possible and no parent should be denied the chance to love and be with his or her child. I congratulate the NSCFC on its sadly necessary work."

Ann Widdecombe.

Have you read Ann's novel Father Figure?

Ann lets fly at all her enemies in Blair's Britain - the unfeeling social services, the incompetent automatons at the Child Support Agency and the failing education system. She has harsh words, too, for a legal system that encourages confrontation to boiling point, then lets it subside into inaction, while all the while the fees meter is running at top speed. Ann tells the story with rattling good pace and creates credible and sympathetic characters.
